Dr. Fodor is recognized as a founding member of several professional societies, served as president of the Semmel weiss Scientific Society, is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Fraternity and has served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force.

His residency training at prestigious Columbia University in New York was followed by his obtaining board certification in general surgery as well as plastic surgery. His extensive general surgical background gives Dr. Fodor a comprehensive understanding of the limits and applications of both forms of surgery. This knowledge has lead Dr. Fodor to initiate many of the innovative procedures now used in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Fodor's scientific curiosity and his ongoing desire to perfect cosmetic procedures had led to his presidency and continuing presence on the board of the Lipoplasty Society of North America. This Society is the foremost authority on liposuction and on body sculpting. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and The American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

In addition to his innovative Liposuction techniques, Dr. Fodor is one of the two U.S. investigators in Ultrasound Assisted Lipoplasty, a new procedure that recently received FDA approval.

A pioneer in the perfection of Endoscopic Plastic Surgery , Dr. Fodor is a renowned authority and authored the book "Endoscopically Assisted Aesthetic Plastic Surgery". He teaches endoscopic surgery procedures in the United States and abroad.

Many other aesthetic enhancements such as Rhinoplasty, (nose) Breast Augmentation, Breast Reduction or Breast Reconstruction following Mastectomy, Facelifts, Abdominoplasty, (tummy tuck) Blepharoplasty (eyelids) and Lip Augmentation with the use of GoreTex for a permanent result are performed by Dr. Fodor on both men and women wanting to make themselves look and feel better through applied Aesthetic Surgery.
